Turkish Airbus welcomes the first A320neo to its fleet
A new aircraft has just joined the Turkish Airlines fleet. It is an A320neo aircraft, a model that already exists in the fleet served by Turkey’s national airline.
The delivery was made yesterday by CDB Aviation. Turkish Airlines has acquired this aircraft by leasing, and intends to use it to ensure several of its frequencies conncetant local and international destinations.
By joining its fleet, the A320neo adds to a dozen large carriers belonging to Turkish Airlines, and six other aircraft of this type must reinforce its fleet by the end of next year.
On the other hand, Turkish Airlines operates one hundred and seventeen single-aisle aircraft in its fleet, including eleven A320s and sixty-six A321s, in addition to the single-aisle aircraft offered by Boeing, such as the 737-800 and 737-900ER. These are all devices deployed on medium-haul flights.
