Turkish Airlines reports strong financial growth
Turkish Airlines has just released its 2025 results. The national carrier announced revenue of $24.1 billion.
Profits from the Turkish airline’s core operations (flights) reached $2.2 billion, representing a net increase of 7.4% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Operationally, 2025 was marked by a new record performance in passenger numbers, reaching nearly 93 million passengers, with an average load factor of 83.2%.
Flight cancellations to the Middle East
In other news, the Star Alliance member airline announced the cancellation of all its flights to several destinations in the Middle East, including Doha and Dubai, due to the reciprocal airstrikes between Iran, the United States, and Israel.
In a statement published on its page on the social network X, the Turkish company said that the resumption of its flights to and from airports in the Middle East will depend on the evolution of the security situation in the region.
