All about boarding procedures on board a SunExpress flight

A boarding pass is the document that every passenger must have in order to be allowed to board a plane. It can be issued either at home before the trip (by checking in online) or at the airport when checking in at the counter.

You will receive your boarding pass via email within 36 hours of submitting your online reservation and check-in request, if you have booked a ticket with Southwest Airlines. If you have booked your ticket through a tour operator, you will need to collect your boarding pass at the check-in counter at the airport.

When do I get my boarding pass?

You normally get a boarding pass when you arrive at the airport and go through security.

If you have already registered online on the SunExpress website, you will receive this document immediately. Alternatively, if you have made another form of booking, the card will be sent to you once the company’s agents process your payment information. Once you have received your boarding pass, keep it safe until you need it.

If you have a printable boarding pass, check if it contains all the necessary information (flight number, seat allocation, etc.). If not, ask for assistance at the information desk or contact the airline directly using their phone number on your boarding pass.

Get and use a mobile boarding pass

If you don’t have a printed boarding pass but can present the barcode from your mobile device, follow these steps:

Scan the code by moving the camera over the symbol until the whole thing is scanned. The system will automatically show you the result.

Use your mobile boarding pass on your smartphone or tablet to go through airport security. You will also find that SunExpress has its own apps allowing you to quickly book tickets with just a few taps on your device.

The mobile boarding pass gives access to the details of the Customer’s flight as well as any special instructions concerning the check-in or pre-boarding of baggage.

Mobile boarding passes are available for all SunExpress-operated flights, except those operated by codeshare partner airlines which have their own separate mobile apps.

SunExpress may not provide mobile boarding passes at foreign airports due to language barriers and other issues.
