Manage and modify a Pegasus flight booking online
For many passengers, the plane trip with Pegasus, planned several days or even several weeks ago, turns into a nightmare. Already buying their plane tickets, and packing their suitcases, but due to a last minute unforeseen event, they are forced to postpone their departure.
In such a situation, the passenger asks only one question: is it possible to change the date of the plane ticket?
Pegasus allows all passengers to change booking details such as name, date or flight itinerary, free of charge within a fixed time frame: Within 24 hours of booking their flight. Exceeding this time will make it almost impossible to make the change, and even if it will be possible, the traveler has to pay a fee of 80 US dollars or more (or its equivalent in Turkish currency), and sometimes it is obliged to make a new reservation without having the possibility of being reimbursed for the amount of his initial reservation.

Change your booking details online
Directly on the Pegasus airline’s website, even if you booked your flight through a third-party booking site. Simply log in to your personal account and enter your reservation code which you usually receive by email when purchasing your ticket. Otherwise, for any kind of modification of a Fly Pegasus flight, it’s very simple: you just have to log in, go to the official website flypgs.com and log in to your personal account. The next step is to hover your cursor over “Manage my Booking”. If you do not have an account, you can recover the reservation by entering the appropriate code which is sent by email when purchasing the flight ticket. In this section, select the Change flight option and choose the one you want to change. Once the flight date has been changed and the price difference has been established, all that remains is to confirm and enter the payment details. At this point, you will receive an email with the updated itinerary, and you can print your new plane ticket.
Changing a flight: how and what is the service charge applied by Pegasus?
To answer this question, you must have all the details on the ticket in question. The charges imposed by the airline may vary and change depending on the ticket price.
As a general rule, the plane tickets issued by this operator can be modified free of charge within the first twenty-four hours (24 hours) following the purchase of the flight, by exceeding this period, the service becomes chargeable and the amount to be paid increases by more in addition approaching the departure date. Also, the fees charged by Pegasus for changing flights differs depending on the route:
– Domestic Flight
A fee of 15 Euros is charged if there are more than two hours left before departure.
If your flight includes a stopover, the last time to modify it is 24 hours before the flight time. And for this, you must pay 50% of the amount of your reservation, and 30% only if you proceed with the operation 72 hours or more before departure.
– International Flight
If, on the other hand, you have taken an international flight, for example connecting Istanbul to Zurich, you must in this case pay from 30 to 55 Euros to modify your flight, and it must be two hours at the most before departure because when this delay s runs out, you can’t change your flight and you lose your reservation if you don’t use your ticket.
If your itinerary is composed, i.e. your connection includes a connection, the costs start at 45 Euros and can go up to $75 for changes made more than 72 hours before departure, and $80 for changes made to the reservation less than 72 hours before the flight.
