Fees are charged for flight changes
If you make changes to your flight, a $39 reissue fee applies in addition to the fees charged by the airline. This only applies to early changes, not changes due to issues such as canceled flights.
Earn points by booking with American Express and convert them into free bookings
Book a flight, hotel room car rental or vacation package on Sunexpress.com using the Membership Rewards portal. Each five hundred thousand (50.000) point miles earned can be converted into $500.
To redeem points for a flight, you need at least five thousand American Express rewards points. The number of points required may vary depending on card type and flight selections. You can only use the program once per transaction.
If you’re planning to book a hotel on the SunExpress website, you can filter the results by star rating, price, and amenities such as pool, restaurant, internet, and parking.
Payment for the reservation can be made with your credit card. You can log in to your account to view or manage your trips.
For the uninitiated, Membership Rewards points can be used to book flights, hotels or vacations on American Express. At checkout, simply select the Pay with Points option for your payment. Points will be used from your Membership Rewards balance. Please note that you must redeem at least five thousand points to be able to make this payment option.
Cancellation of Sunexpress flight booked with American Express
To cancel your flight, you can contact support by phone. If you cancel within 24 hours, there may be no penalty charge and you will also get your points back. Some rates are non-refundable, they will be mentioned at the time of booking.
Also note that while American Express does not charge flight cancellation fees, there may be fees from the SunExpress airline. Please read the terms and conditions before confirming your reservation.
