Turkish Airlines cancels flights to several Middle Eastern countries
As the crisis in the Middle East continues due to the ongoing conflict between Iran, Israel, and the United States, Turkish Airlines has announced the suspension of flights to several Middle Eastern countries.
“Due to the situation in the Middle East, some flights have been canceled for security reasons,” Turkish Airlines announced in a statement.
With numerous countries having already announced the closure of their airspace, air traffic in the Middle East is facing a vast no fly zone.
The Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Abdulkadir Uraloglu, clarified that the resumption of flights to these countries depends on how the situation in the region develops.
In the same context, the Turkish minister announced that flights to Doha (Qatar), Riyadh, Jeddah, and Medina (Saudi Arabia), and Muscat (Oman) have resumed after a brief suspension.
