SunExpress: Record number of passengers during this year

SunExpress can carry a record number of passengers during this year. The Turkish carrier will exceed the threshold of ten million travelers on its flights served and operated since January 2022.

Max Kownatzki, Chairman and CEO of SunExpress announced that his airline is the first to serve the largest number of flights, with the largest number of seats offered on routes connecting Turkey to German-speaking countries, such as Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

And it seems SunExpress isn’t going to stop there. According to its boss, Mr. Kownatzki, after having recorded record and historic figures during this year, the Turkish carrier intends to increase its capacities during the winter season just for one objective: to continue to satisfy the growing demand of its customers.

“In September, the Turkish carrier served a thousand additional flights while it will operate five hundred and fifty additional routes during the current month,” added Max Kownatzki.
