Turkish Airlines shares its codes with two new airlines

Turkish Airlines recently announced that it has signed two new partnerships allowing it to share its codes with two new airlines: ITA Airways in Italy and Vietnam Airlines. These two contracts will allow the Turkish company to expand its global reach and offer more travel options to its passengers.

Turkish Airlines can now offer its passengers flights to nine key Italian destinations: Rome, Turin, Brindisi, Bari, Catania, Florence, Genoa, Palermo, Lamezia Terme and Trieste. This is undoubtedly good news for many travelers visiting the European country for business or leisure.

Vietnam Airlines is one of Southeast Asia’s leading airlines, and the new codeshare agreement with Turkish Airlines will strengthen its presence in Europe. In return, the codeshare partnership will allow TA passengers to reach several destinations in Vietnam, including Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi. This new agreement will also provide Vietnamese travelers with easier access to TA extensive network of destinations around the world.

For Turkish Airlines, these new partnerships are a strategic move to expand its global footprint and attract more passengers.
