Turkish Airlines opens direct flights to Panama

Turkish Airlines has introduced a new flight to its international network. The Turkish airline served its first connection between Istanbul and Panama last week.

The Turkish carrier now operates ten frequencies per week between the two destinations using its Boeing 787 Dreamliner (30 + 270). The 13-hour flight departs from Istanbul Airport at 2:52 p.m.

Turkish Airlines will offer departures to Panama-Tocumen airport on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday. Return flights leave the Central American country’s airport the same day at 9:45 p.m. (Panama time).

According to statistics published by Aviacionline, seventy-eight thousand and three hundred and one passengers took flights (with stopover) to travel between Istanbul and Panama, during the January-September period of the current year.

Panama is one of several destinations to join the international network of Turkish Airlines in 2022. The Istanbul-based carrier has already announced the inauguration of flights to several destinations in Europe such as Nantes in France, Palermo in Italy and La Coruña in Spain.
