Pegasus Airlines launches historic service to Tuzla
In a strategic move to strengthen its presence in the Balkans, Pegasus Airlines has announced the opening of a new direct route to Tuzla, Bosnia and Herzegovina. The move follows the suspension of Wizz Air’s operations and the closure of its base at Dubrave Gornje International Airport, leaving slots available that the Turkish low-cost carrier quickly grabbed.
The route will be operated from Istanbul Sabiha Gökçen Airport.
Mr. Iskurt, a Pegasus Airlines spokesperson, expressed the importance of the new flight, calling it “a historic event for the company as well as for the Turkish airline industry.”
The service to Tuzla will be operated by an Airbus A320, configured in two classes and able to accommodate up to 186 passengers.
For any possible reservations on this new line serving Tuzla, passengers can now access the official website of Pegasus Airlines, fypgs.com.
