Pegasus Airlines: Upcoming launch of flights to Casablanca

Pegasus Airlines, the air carrier specializing in low-cost flights will soon reopen its flights to Casablanca.

Suspended about thirty-six months ago because of the pandemic, the Turkish carrier will soon relaunch its flights to the Moroccan tourist city, especially since the North African country announced last month the definitive lifting of restrictions. coronavirus travel restrictions.

Casablanca is the first and only Moroccan destination to join the Pegasus network. Before the suspension of its connections to the port city of the Maghreb country, the low-cost airline offered four weekly flights to Casablanca-Mohammed V airport from its base at Istanbul-Sabiha Gokcen airport.

These frequencies were operated by single-aisle Airbus (and sometimes Boeing) aircraft. They were provided every day of the week, except Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Pegasus Airlines faces competition from several air operators on this route, such as Air Arabia Maroc, Turkish Airlines and the other Turkish company Corendon Airlines.
