Turkish Airlines connects Istanbul to Melbourne via Singapore
Turkish Airlines recently revealed additional information about its new route between Istanbul and Melbourne.
From March 15, the Turkish airline will begin operating flights three times a week to Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport, Australia’s second busiest airport, capable of handling up to 22 million passengers annually.
This new route will include a stopover at Singapore Changi Airport. Flights from Istanbul will depart every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 5:30 p.m., arriving in the Asia-Pacific country the next day at 8:50 a.m. Flights will then resume at 10:20 a.m., arriving in Melbourne at 8:40 p.m.
For the return flight, planes will depart Melbourne on Saturdays, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:30 p.m., landing in Singapore the following day at 4:00 a.m. The flight will depart from SIN at 4:30 a.m. and arrive in Istanbul at 11:15 a.m.
It is important to highlight that Melbourne thus becomes the 346th destination in the extensive Turkish Airlines network, which currently serves 130 countries around the world.
